The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is divided into two main areas: Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Diagon Alley
Start your adventure in Diagon Alley, just like Harry. Hidden in plain sight in London, this area offers thrilling rides like “Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts.” Pick up a wand at Ollivanders Wand Shop and try out the interactive wand activities. Swap your muggle money for Gringotts bank notes at the Gringotts Money Exchange. Check out Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes and Borgin and Burkes, and don’t miss the owlery. Hogwarts Express
To travel between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade, hop aboard the iconic Hogwarts Express from platform 9¾. This isn’t just any train ride – it’s an immersive experience that takes you through the British countryside and even includes appearances from familiar characters. Remember, you’ll need tickets for both parks to ride the Hogwarts Express.
Hogsmeade
In Hogsmeade, experience “Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.” This exhilarating ride takes you on a thrilling journey through the Forbidden Forest, where you’ll encounter magical creatures and creatures from the Harry Potter series. Riders have the option to choose between riding Hagrid’s motorbike or sitting in the sidecar, each offering a unique perspective and experience of the adventure. Don’t forget to try Butterbeer or Pumpkin Juice from Hog’s Head or the nearby cart. Explore the shops before heading to Hogwarts Castle.
