What’s New

Well, I am back from my first 2024 adventure! The inaugural sailing of Icon of the Seas definitely did not disappoint?

So what was it like sailing on the largest ship at sea? ICONIC!!!! This 250, 800 ton ship offers a whole new class of adventures boasting 8 different neighborhoods from thrills to chills! Not only did I get a taste, I am so excited to share it all with you!!!

The moment begins when you enter the Royal Promenade and notice the Pearl-a five deck tall glass surface lined with 3,000 tiles! Climb the stairs and enjoy the Pearl Cafe with tall glass windows overlooking the water. Grab a coffee, snack, or parfait and CHILL! Or my favorite the HIDEAWAY where you do just that in the ultimate infinity pool.

Need a THRILL? Surf on the famous Flow Rider or climb the rock wall. Not enough? Test out the Category 6 water park or walk off the daring Crown’s Edge? Talk about ICONIC!

Got little ones? Stay and play all day at Surfside. Let them enjoy the aqua park, carousel , infinity pool, and arcade. You may even run into the canine crew member, Rover!

In addition, let’s not forget all the included food varieties that won’t leave you hungry? My new favorite, the Aqua Market with the Mac and Cheese selections! Yum!!

Oh! And you do need a place to stay, so why not have pleasant dreams in the new Infinite Ocean View Balcony rooms? One large window that opens with the ocean below. Upgrade to the Family and kids will have a hideaway bunk room! WOW!
