Tusker House Review

By Megan@StraightAwayTravel

Tusker House is a character dining restaurant located in the land of Africa in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. This African cuisine inspired restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  All meals include visits from the fabulous Mickey, Daisy, Donald, and Goofy dressed in their finest safari gear.

Now for the most important part of any restaurant- the food! Currently, Tusker House is family style and all food comes to the table and you eat whatever you want. Additionally, you can ask for more of any food that is served to you. For breakfast you can find fabulous breads, pastries, eggs, and curries. For lunch and dinner you will eat curry shrimp, Moroccan spiced beef, roasted potatoes- as well as fabulous desserts! As far as price, breakfast will run $42 per adult and $37 per child and lunch/dinner will run $55 per adult and $46 per child. Now, if you are worried about your child who is a picky eater (and trust me- I have two) there is chicken and mac-n-cheese.

Why do I always recommend this restaurant?

It’s simple- the food is consistently delicious and getting to meet characters without standing in line is ALWAYS a huge plus for my family! We tend to eat an early dinner or late lunch at Tusker House and then hit FOP one more time. Grab a dining reservation and enjoy this restaurant during your next trip to Animal Kingdom!
