Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, Disney Believe, is scheduled to make its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027. What is Disney Believe?
Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining Disney Wish Disney Wish, Full Ship Tour, Disney Treasure Disney Treasure Walk Through and Disney Destiny. It is also part of Disney Cruise Line’s larger fleet expansion, with the fleet expected to grow to 13 ships by late 2030.
The ship’s central theme is belief, promise and possibility: the idea that courage, family and faith in a dream can lead to new horizons. Tinker Bell will appear at the bow, evoking “faith, trust and pixie dust,” while larger-than-life Buzz and Woody sculptures will greet guests from the stern.
Disney Believe is planned to sail year-round from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on four- and five-night itineraries to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, including Cozumel. Depending on the sailing, you can visit one or both of Disney’s island destinations: Castaway Cay and Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point.
The maiden voyage and inaugural-season itineraries
The maiden voyage is a five-night Bahamian cruise departing December 18, 2027. Its itinerary includes Nassau, Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay, along with a day at sea.
The inaugural season also includes a mix of four- and five-night sailings, such as:
- Four-night Bahamian cruises visiting Nassau, Castaway Cay or Lookout Cay
- Five-night Bahamian cruises combining Nassau with one or both Disney island destinations
- Five-night Western Caribbean cruises calling at Cozumel and Castaway Cay

The new ship will combine familiar Disney Cruise Line features with entertainment and venues created especially for Disney Believe.
New entertainment and imaginative spaces
- “Disney Encanto” will bring the first-ever stage adaptation of Encanto to the Walt Disney Theatre, with Mirabel’s story, vibrant Colombian-inspired design and songs from the film.
- Gazelle, a Zootopia-inspired entertainment hub, will offer family activities during the day and adult-focused entertainment at night.
- The Grand Hall, inspired by Moana, will be the ship’s central gathering space, with ocean-inspired details and a golden statue of Moana with Pua the pig.
- Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast will invite families into a new Frozen-themed dining experience with music and appearances from characters including Anna and Kristoff.
- Adults can look forward to Wishing Well, a Snow White-inspired lounge; Sea Notes, a Little Mermaid-themed piano bar; and Skygazers, an observatory-themed pub.

Returning experiences are part of the appeal, too. Disney Believe is planned to feature the Haunted Mansion Parlor, along with adult dining favorites Palo Steakhouse and Enchanté. Disney Cruise Line is using tiered early-booking access for eligible Castaway Club members. The announced schedule is:

Important maiden-voyage terms to understand
The maiden voyage has specific booking conditions that families should consider before committing:
- A non-refundable deposit of 10% is due on the day of booking.
- Final payment is due 120 days before sailing for suites and Concierge staterooms, and 90 days before sailing for other staterooms.
- Date changes are not permitted once the maiden-voyage reservation is booked.
- The sailing cannot be combined with other offers, discounts or future cruise credits.
- Existing reservations can be moved to the maiden voyage, subject to applicable availability and rules.
