Disney has some amazing value resorts on site. The value resorts often time are less than close by hotels PLUS you get the perks of being able to stay on Disney property which gives you access to the free Disney transportation bus to all parks and Disney Springs. You are also able to get into the parks during Extra Magic Hours which gives Disney Resort guests an extra hour on many days. Staying on Disney property also gives your Disney Magic Bands for free (they act as your park ticket, room key, and dining plan (if you purchase a dining plan)). Another amazing perk of staying on Disney property is the ability to book your fast passes 60 days before your travel day compared to 30 days when staying off site. If you wait to book your Disney fast passes at 30, most of the good ones are sold out. So.. bottom line, stay on Disney property!
