At Dolphin Cove, guests have the opportunity to engage with these intelligent marine mammals through three distinct experiences:
1. Dolphin Encounter
This program with Dolphins is for all ages, you do not need to know how to swim and it is a great introductory experience.

2. Dolphin Swim Adventure
With this experience you get more time with the dolphins than in the experience. including a ride.

3. Dolphin Royal Swim
The absolutely BEST experience, we felt as if we were in a marine life show! My favorite part was the foot push, where we floated on the surface of the water, a dolphin pushed each foot until we were lifted into the air, then taken around the pool and finally launched up into the air. It was incredible!!

Dolphin Experience Height Restrictions: My family participated in the Royal Swim, it was incredible. Even I did not realize there was a height restriction on certain activities until I arrived. Luckily, my boys are competitive swimmers, so they made an exception. However, overall, this is the policy from their website:
- Children over 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in any of our dolphin programs by paying the adult rate.
- Children over 3.9 ft to 4.6 ft will be allowed to participate alone in the Encounter program. Children over 3.3 ft to 3.9 ft will be allowed to participate in the Encounter program accompanied by a paying adult (1 adult per kid).
- Children under 3.3 ft will be considered infants and will perform Encounter activities regardless of the program in which they participate (it is a requirement that they fit the vest).
Poolside Bliss: After an exhilarating dolphin encounter, unwind by the oceanside pool.
Photos: due to the safety of the animals, you cannot bring your camera or phone to take your own photos during the experience. There are photographers there taking pictures of your experience that you can purchase afterwards. Plan to do this, you can choose the photos you want and only pay for your favorites. Be warned; they are pricey, so plan for that, but to my family they were so worth it. It really was one of the best experiences we have had and it’s amazing to look back at those memories, captured by the photos.
